The statue of Christ Redeemer from Rio de Janeiro is one of the most famous monuments in the world. This statue’s replica is located in Białołęka, in the Neighbor Aid Center in Marywilska Street. The statue was made by the Center’s residents under the direction of S. Strzyżyński, a sculptor from Nałęczów. Marek Kotański was the originator of this project. The monument was placed in the middle of the square in 1996.
